The stones:
The bangle is offered with three stones only — and the choice is deliberate. As a gemmologist, I set only stones I'd trust in a setting that takes the daily knocks a bangle does. Diamond, sapphire, and ruby sit at 9–10 on the Mohs scale. They stay set. They endure. Everything else is a compromise I'm not willing to make on your behalf.
Natural Diamond — the hardest natural material on earth. Colourless, brilliant, and completely without pretension. A stone chosen for what it actually is.
Sapphire — corundum, 9 on the Mohs scale, available in a range of colours from deep blue to pale pink. Its extraordinary durability made it the stone of kings and scholars across multiple historical traditions.
Ruby — the red variety of corundum, sharing sapphire's hardness and durability. One of the most consistently documented stones in the English folk tradition, associated with vitality, courage, and the capacity to endure difficult circumstances.
The talisman:
Some paths are forged from primary sources. Some are forged entirely from your own material. This is the latter. Wear what you mean.

Why only these three stones?
A bangle takes a different kind of wear than a pendant. It knocks against tables, doorframes, and other jewellery constantly. Most gemstones — however beautiful — aren't built for that. I've worn my own bangle and lost stones. Aquamarine went first. Emerald next. Even garnet, at 6.5–7.5 on the Mohs scale, eventually gave way.
Diamond, sapphire, and ruby sit at 9–10 on the Mohs scale. They are, quite simply, the stones that stay. I won't set anything else in a bangle and call it a piece you can rely on. That's not a limitation — it's the gemmologist's honest answer to the question of what actually works.
If you have your heart set on a different stone, I'd gently suggest the Intention or Elemental Range instead — pieces designed for the way those stones actually behave.
